http://www.eu-turn.com/site/wp-content/uploads/eesc-thematic.flvThe European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) regularly hosts its partners and groups of visitors to show them its work. The EESC therefore needed a presentation tool that could be disseminated to very different audiences from specific sectors as well as the general public. The introductory film had to explain the EESC’s mission, how it works and its identity.
EU-turn produced a scenario based on three aspects: the history of the EESC and how it works; the members of the EESC and their areas of work; its relations with its partners and its future prospects. Our agency developed its work using three types of material: interviews with key people in the institution (President, Secretary General, etc.) and leading members of the European institutions (José Manuel Barroso, Hans Gert Poettering, Hans Brunmayr, Margot Wallström etc.); images of members of the EESC at work (meetings, plenaries, on the ground, in conferences etc.); videos from institutional archives and theme-based reports (the institution’s major events and EESC founding groups).
Our agency produced a short and dynamic film and took care to avoid any institutional jargon by clearly explaining central concepts. This methodology made for an attractive communication tool that effectively sets out the specificity of the EESC.
