The Christening of Jacques Delors

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the Committee of the Regions (CoR) have chosen to christen their headquarters with the name Jacques Delors. Delors took part in the biennial conference organised on the same day by the EESC about the European Social Model.

These two events required communication based on the particular link between Jaceques Delors and the EESC. A professional photographer was present for the two days of the conference to capture the key moments of the event: the plenary sessions, conversations in private with speakers from the workshops, dialogue with the media and the opening address. The photographer set up a portable studio and sent the EESC all the photos (free of copyright) in digital format for its website. Used in different contexts, the equipment selected has made it possible to carry out some high quality processing of the images.
