A video showing the placement of a giant poster on the façade of the European Parliament in Brussels.

Aung San Suu Kyi, a campaigner for democracy in Burma (now known as Myanmar) was imprisoned by the military dictatorship of her country to prevent her from taking up her duties as prime minister after her party won the 1990 elections. She has received the Ratzo Prize, the Sakharov Prize and the Nobel Peace Prize for her non-violent struggle against the Burmese junta. Since August 2007, there have been numerous public demonstrations to bring down the regime.
The European Parliament wanted to show its support for Aung San Suu Kyi and to call for her to be released via a giant poster on its building in Brussels. EU-turn therefore produced a 100m2 poster made up of two distinct elements, one of which was meant to stay in place. The production and set-up were done in barely three days. The same thing was then done in Strasbourg, but this time on a glass surface of 200m2.
