Parliaments in the spotlight

EU-turn produced an itinerant exhibition for MEPs and national MPs for the European Parliament’s DG Internal Affairs. It shows them the history of the European Parliament, the parliaments of member states and of candidate countries when they joined the EU. It also shows how these parliaments work.

EU-turn developed an attractive graphic design making it easier to identify the institution concerned via photos and basic statistical information. Several boxes develop different angles: a chronology of the history of the parliament, its relations with Europe, its communications tools made available to citizens etc. The page design was developed in such a way that new languages could be added or so that content could be adapted to a new requirement. The exhibition was produced in three languages, i.e. 105 panels. We chose a simple and robust production solution to take account of the numerous exhibitions planned in different places. The exhibition came with four large (130cm) plasma screens showing a film about the acquis communautaire [EU body of law].
